Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026 launches, positioning Thailand as ASEAN’s gateway for entertainment and professional AV technology

Bangkok, 24 March 2026. The official press conference for Prolight + Sound Bangkok (PLSB) 2026 was successfully held at Elysium Immersive Club, Bravo Bangkok, on 23 March, bringing together 100 leading industry stakeholders including Golden Duck Group, Mahajak Development, ProPlugin, The Asavasopon, and Vichai Trading, alongside government representatives, associations, and media from across the professional audio, lighting, event, and entertainment sectors. This strong interest reflects the ongoing momentum of Southeast Asia’s entertainment, event, and music market – one of the fastest-growing sectors globally. At the upcoming show, visitors will have the opportunity to connect with over 150 international exhibitors and engage with more than 5,000 trade visitors from across Asia, reinforcing the fair’s role as a key regional platform for business, networking, and industry growth.

Prolight + Sound Bangkok announces landmark AVLIAS partnership, strengthening regional collaboration

Bangkok, 6 March 2026. Ahead of its 30 September – 2 October 2026 debut at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Prolight + Sound Bangkok (PLSB), co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, is strengthening regional collaboration. The show aims to expand market access and support its position as Southeast Asia’s premier platform for the entertainment, event, and music industries. Reflecting this momentum, PLSB and the Pro Audiovisual & Lighting Integration Association of Singapore (AVLIAS) announced a landmark partnership on 22 January. The new collaboration reinforces the show’s high potential as a cross-border business hub, with AVLIAS joining a growing list of international and domestic supporting organisations.

Messe Frankfurt partners with VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific to debut Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026, unlocking SEA entertainment market

Bangkok, 22 October 2025. Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong, in partnership with VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, has announced the launch of Prolight + Sound Bangkok, a new regional platform for the entertainment and pro AV sectors. Scheduled to debut from 30 September to 2 October 2026 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), the new fair will leverage the Thai capital’s strategic position at the heart of Southeast Asia, offering access to a broader consumer market of more than 670 million people[1].
